Secretary General (SG):

• To be the administrative hub of the class, maintain official class documents and plan, manage, monitor and report on the class finances

• Promote the Class generally, bring together, build, grow and manage ITCA’s online communities by creating and managing content and social media

• With the Regatta Secretary recruit entries for events from as many countries and continents as possible

• Manage the ITCA website, creating content, newsletters and manage Twitter and act as a forum moderator

• Create marketing materials including literature, exhibitions and films

• Create digital media campaigns and measure success

• Manage media requests and build relationships with the yachting press

• Encourage the organisation and holding of national and regional Topper events

• Help and advise on the formation of new NAITCs

• Promote the activities of the NAITCs globally

• Establish and maintain relationships with World Sailing (WS) and National Member Authorities (NMA) and promote the activities of the Topper worldwide

• Represent the Class alongside class officials at WS and NMA level

• Ongoing work with NAITCs and building relationships with Topper sailors and their families worldwide

• To work closely with the builder and its agent/dealers in the promotion of the Topper

• Support the Regatta Secretary with sponsors as necessary and agreed

Regatta Secretary (RS):

• To communicate, plan, run and deliver international events

• With the Secretary General recruit entries for events from as many countries and continents as possible

• Negotiate Hosting Agreements

• Create budgets and manage all aspects of events

• Identify, signup and promote sponsorship for the events

• Promote the events by creating and managing content and social media during the build-up to events and the events themselves, and measure success

• Run ITCA Instagram and Facebook accounts and moderate them

• Develop and promote event merchandising

• Work with official film makers and photographers in order to promote the Class and its international activities and image

• Create press content and publish the results for events

• Create event materials

• Work closely with the builder and its agent/dealers in the promotion of Topper events
